Trekking

A fascinating trekking day. We pass the highest point on our trek (Palomani Pass 5200). At this point you’ll be rewarded by splendid views and it’s also an important place to leave offerings to the Apus (mountain spirits). Adventure

We will begin the adventure in the Apurimac River. There we will be able to appreciate giant otters, foxes, condors, ducks, deer and if we are lucky a puma. Before the trip we will give you security chats about what you can do and what you can’t, we will run rapids (II and III Class). We will arrive to the campsite between 16:00 / 17:00. Ecological

We continue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu Pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. Here, a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads.
